2016Manufactured Enjoyment

Manufactured Enjoyment

Huntsville, AL
Completed in: In Progress
Client: Danny and Patti Yancey

Stovehouse was originally home to the Martin Stove Factory in the early 1900s. Over the years many other manufacturers, including munitions during the war have used the building. Multiple additions - built with a quirkiness that cannot be replicated- were constructed through the 70s and now the campus is located in a burgeoning creative neighborhood close to downtown.

We began an assessment and master plan concept to reimagine what these buildings could and should house for the future of Huntsville.  A multi-use office and entertainment district slowly started making its way to the forefront with a 2000 person concert venue anchor and the Food Garden/Play Area with food tenants and outdoor games in a garden like setting.

The City of Huntsville has partnered with the development team to bring much needed infrastructure and parking to the site in order to ensure its success.

Currently under construction with multiple phases, creative office and culinary tenants are filling up the buildings.  It’s an exciting moment for these historic buildings and the city of Huntsville.
