Micah James

A proud-most-days Nashville native, Micah spent her early years exploring the woods of rural Tennessee with her siblings and sneaking into shows in the city with her friends- hobbies she continues to (legally!) enjoy to this day. After a few happy but aimless years teaching art, Micah went back to school at MTSU to pursue interior design, and she’s been a more fulfilled and inspired person ever since. She bopped around a handful of commercial and residential firms after graduating, but found her home at Centric thanks to their commitment to preserving her hometown and dedication to highlighting local artists and makers. Outside of the office you’re most likely to find her wandering thru Shelby Bottoms with her greyhound and camera or curled up somewhere cozy with her nose in a book.
