The Factory at Franklin eyed for massive renovation following $56M buy

A Midwestern-based development firm paid millions for The Factory at Franklin, a once-industrial site that is planned to house a massive redevelopment project within a year.

The Nashville office of Holladay Properties, headquartered in South Bend, Indiana, dropped $56 million on the 10-building former factory space that currently houses a mix of shopping, dining and office, according to a press release. Madison Wenzler of Cushman & Wakefield brokered the deal, and John Haynes of the Bradley law firm provided legal counsel.

Holladay Properties, led locally by Allen Arender, has also enlisted Ronnie Wenzler, a current Cushman & Wakefield executive, to help redevelop the site. Their project team, which includes Centric Architecture, is planning to add more curated shopping, dining and entertainment, along with office space.
