Local firms plan luxury condo development near 12South

A new luxury condo development is heading near 12South.

Nashville-based Domus Development Group and Place Development Corp. are preparing to break ground on a boutique condo project wedged between Eighth Avenue and 12South, according to a news release.

The development, called The Forsythe, is slated to offer 57 units with amenities including a pool, courtyard with outdoor kitchen, fitness studio, coworking and lounge spaces and more.

Compass is leading sales for the condos, with reservations halfway to the pre-sale target, according to the release.

The Forsythe will rise on a 1.2-acre at 825 Gale Lane, which is located a few blocks from Sevier Park. An LLC tied to Domus Development paid $2.35 million for the project site in October 2024, according to Metro records.
