Late spring groundbreaking eyed for Melrose condo building

Pre-sales are underway and a late spring groundbreaking tentatively eyed for a five-story condominium building to be located in Melrose near 12South.

As the Post reported in November 2025, the 57-unit residential structure will offer an address of 825 Gale Lane, which sits adjacent to the Gale Lofts Apartments (read here).

The building, to offer 72,000 square feet, will be called The Forsythe and include a lobby and a swimming pool. The site is located about five blocks from Sevier Park and the southern end of the 12South commercial district.

A release notes the local office of New York-based Compass is handling marketing and sales efforts, with reservations halfway to the pre-sale target. Nashville-based Centric Architecture is handling the design of The Forsythe.
