"A prolific homegrown Nashville restaurant company aims to create a mid-rise building on a triangle of land at downtown's doorstep, according to plans filed with the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency.
That potential project from Fresh Hospitality, and a nearby eight-story building planned by a Seattle developer, are among the items that MDHA's design review committee will vet at its scheduled May 19 meeting.
Fresh, whose company now includes some 20 brands, paid $2.1 million six years ago for a piece of land at 94 Peabody St., formerly home to the Copper Kettle restaurant. Plans that Centric Architecture filed with MDHA depict a six-story building with a restaurant, three other retailers and 33 rooms — most of which are one- or two-bedroom units."
