The future structure will stand two floors and offer at least one restaurant (read here). The address is 2908 12th Ave. S.

A permit, valued at about $431,485, has been issued to allow for construction of the building. The site’s former structure accommodated a gas station.

An LLC affiliated with, among others, local real estate investor McClain Towery owns the property, having paid $1.05 million for it in June, Metro records note.

Nashville-based companies Centric Architecture and Fulmer Lucas Engineering are participating in the project (read more here).

Based in Philadelphia, Anthropologie operates retail stores locally in Franklin, Green Hills and The Gulch. The first shop opened in 1992 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with the parent company now operating more than 200 stores in the U.S. and various other countries.

No other tenants have been announced for the future 12South building.
