We work in concert with clients and colleagues: initially listening without bias, sharing visions and values, generating ideas and possibilities, finding a clear and compelling focus that realizes the best solution for a client's needs.
Really, it's two things: design, and people. It's that simple. At Centric, we love people, and we love design. But what we really love are people who love design. Regardless of what new technologies change the way we work, or what new materials or innovative processes impact how we do what we do, we will always be about the "why". Why do we do what we do? Out of everything we've designed, building places that honor the people involved — from the designers, to the end users and the surrounding community — gives us the most pride.
Dating back to 1955, Centric is one of the oldest architecture firms in Middle Tennessee. Through different names, mergers, slanty desks, and big rulers, the same bold spirit has carried us from our founding to the present day.
